— Our Commitment —

Travel that gives back.
Quietly.

A Solana journey is a significant investment. We carry that knowledge with us — and we believe the people, places and creatures who make it possible deserve a meaningful share of every shilling that passes through our atelier.

This page is the standard we hold ourselves to. It is also the standard you should hold us to.

— Four Pillars —

Where your shilling actually goes.

01

Conservancy
A significant share of every itinerary flows directly to the conservancies that protect the land we move through — Maasai Mara, Ol Pejeta, Lewa, Mount Kenya. The wildlife is not a backdrop. It is the reason.

02

Community
Fair wages, year-round employment, training and scholarships for the guides, trackers, chefs and camp staff who carry every journey. We pay people properly because we cannot do this work without them.

03

Climate
Carbon-considered routing, low-impact tented camps, no single-use plastics in the field, and partnerships with operators whose own footprint we have actually audited — not just read about.

04

Culture
Direct partnerships with Maasai, Samburu and Swahili artisans, elders and cultural custodians. Every cultural encounter is paid for at the source, never extracted, never packaged.

— Transparency —

We publish the maths.

Where conservancy fees, guide wages, camp costs and our own margin actually sit inside a Solana journey — written out in full.

"Every shilling accounted for, directed well, and returned — in wildlife, in landscapes, in people, and in memories."
