A Solana journey is a private contract between you and our atelier. These are the terms by which we work.
All journeys are confirmed in writing once a 30% deposit has been received and the proposal has been counter-signed by both parties. The balance is due 60 days before the start of travel. For bookings made within 60 days of departure, full payment is required at confirmation.
Cancellations made more than 90 days before departure: deposit refunded less an atelier fee of USD 250. Between 90 and 60 days: 50% of the trip cost retained. Between 60 and 30 days: 75% retained. Within 30 days: full cost retained. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment and medical evacuation.
All guests must travel with valid international travel insurance covering, at a minimum, medical evacuation from East Africa. A copy of the policy must be shared with our concierge team before travel.
We will not be liable for delays, alterations, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including weather, wildlife behaviour, civil disruption, or aviation delays. We will, however, do everything in our power to re-route, recompose, or refund where reasonable.
All guests are expected to follow the guidance of their lead guide at all times, particularly in the presence of wildlife. We reserve the right to remove a guest from a journey, without refund, where their conduct endangers themselves, other guests, our staff, or wildlife.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi.
