Eight nights on the Chogoria Route — the wildest, most beautiful trail up Mount Kenya.
Three routes lead to Point Lenana, the highest trekkable summit on Mount Kenya. Only one passes through the Gorges Valley, past Lake Michaelson, and out across the Itanguni moorland — the Chogoria. We walk it slowly, with two acclimatisation days built into the schedule, because reaching the top easily is more rewarding than reaching the top once.

Summit success rate on the 8-day Chogoria-Sirimon traverse is approximately 87%. Two built-in acclimatisation days are non-negotiable — this is why we choose this route.
